Sportlist is a platform that helps parents in Egypt discover, compare, and book trials with kids' sports academies. This policy applies to parents, academy owners, and visitors using sportlistapp.com and any related apps.

a. Information you provide as a parent

• Name, username, email, mobile number, age, and gender
• Profile photo (optional)
• Co-parent/guardian linking information, if you choose to connect a second parent account

b. Information you provide about your child When you add a child profile, you may provide:

• Name, date of birth, gender, and profile photo
• Sport interests and current academy

We collect this information because you, the parent or legal guardian, choose to provide it on your child's behalf in order to use our booking and academy-matching features. We do not knowingly collect this information directly from a child.

c. Information from academy owners Business name, contact details, location, programs, pricing, coach and branch information, and photos submitted for listing on the platform.

d. Automatically collected information Device type, browser, IP address, general usage data, and app interactions, used to keep the platform working properly and to understand how it's used.

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage parent, child, and academy accounts
• Power search, filtering, and academy discovery
• Process and track trial bookings and enrollments between parents and academies
• Enable reviews tied to real bookings
• Send booking status updates, review prompts, and (where relevant) WhatsApp notifications
• Improve the platform and respond to support requests

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties, and we do not use children's information for advertising.

• With academies: when you submit a trial or enrollment request, relevant details (your child's name, age, and sport interest) are shared with that specific academy to process your request.
• With co-parents: if you link a second parent/guardian account, both accounts have equal access to shared children's profiles.
• With service providers: limited technical providers (e.g. hosting, email, WhatsApp messaging) who help us operate the platform, under obligations to protect your data.
• If required by law, or to protect the safety of users or the platform.

We never share personal or child data for third-party marketing purposes.

Sportlist is built for use by parents and legal guardians on behalf of their children. Children do not create their own accounts.

• Your child's profile information is visible only to: you, any linked co-parent, and the specific academy you book a trial or enrollment with.
• You can edit or delete your child's profile at any time from your account.
• If you believe a child's information has been provided to us inappropriately or without proper parental authority, contact us and we will review and remove it promptly.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No online platform can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data — and your child's — protected.

We use cookies and similar technologies, including for our installable web-app (PWA) experience, to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand platform usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

You can, at any time:

• Edit or delete your account, or your child's profile
• Edit or delete any review you've submitted
• Unlink a co-parent account
• Control which notifications you receive (see Notification Settings in your account) — note that essential booking status updates cannot be disabled, as they're necessary for the service to function
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting us

Sportlist may link to academy websites, social media pages, or other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Sportlist grows. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
